Classroom Observation Forms Developed to Foster Social Inclusion for Vulnerable Students
A set of classroom observation tools has been developed to support the social inclusion of vulnerable student groups. Created through the collaboration of partners from Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy, Slovenia, Norway, and Portugal, this project aims to equip teachers with effective resources to analyze classroom dynamics and foster inclusive practices.
Representing Turkey in the project, academics from Ege University have significantly contributed by developing six forms tailored for classroom use. To ensure the forms meet teachers’ needs, they were translated into Turkish and then reviewed by ten experienced teachers. The feedback from these teachers was instrumental in refining the forms, which were finalized based on their expert evaluations. Once implemented in partner countries, classroom observation tools are expected to make a meaningful impact on fostering inclusivity in education.
